Jobs and Opps at Social Streets, Drapers, The Skinny, The Mirror, and Many, Many More 🪩
And now I'm running off to swim...
At the risk of repetition, I wanted to start this week’s newsletter off by saying thank you to those of you who’ve filled out our annual survey. Even though we only send one email outside of Tuesdays a year, it always makes me feel a bit icky— no one asked for me to pop up in your inbox in the middle of a bottomless brunch on Saturday.
Our mentor (kindly supplied through the DBACE scheme, would recommend) said we need to aim for 100 to 500 responses in order to be able to work out meaningful insights and trends — but I had no real idea what kind of response we’d get. All day on Saturday I kept cracking it open and sneaking a peek, in between a car MOT, a bike fit, and attempting to rid my beloved cat of fleas (would not recommend).
Currently, we’re sitting at just over 200 responses, which is way above my initial hopes. Thank you all so much for your input — it’s probably been one of the most invigorating things we’ve done so far this year. Our survey is designed to make sure we’re reaching as many people as possible, and creating the best range of resources. Flicking through your responses has been such an inspiration, and I’m really excited to study it and come back to you all with what we’re going to do to improve.
If you’d like to add your voice, there’s still time — you can read more about why we put together our annual survey here and tell us what you’d like us to do in the future here. All answers are anonymous, no questions are compulsory, and you can also enter a draw to win a free JR membership too. And, as everyone always says, it’s quick to do! Thank you so much for your support — we can’t wait to share the results.
