Jobs and Opps at The Stage, ITV, Hyphen, Tes, DEVELOP3D, and Many, Many More ❄️
A truly bumper edition of jobs and opps this week!
I’ll preface this newsletter by saying this is the penultimate time I’m going to mention our magazine. In two more newsletters’ time, you’ll never have to hear me bang on about it again (until we start putting it together next year). Now, there are just 10 days left to pre-order a copy*, so, if you’ve been thinking of snagging one, now would be a really good time to place an order.
We’re aiming to sell 10 copies a day for these final 10 days, which will give a huge boost to our ability to create new resources and run new programmes to support people at all stages of their journalism careers. That includes things like our fellowship, which offers paid work, editing and CV feedback, and mentoring to journalists of all ages about to embark on their careers. It also includes things like a pending website update with more free-to-access resources and our support for those affected by redundancies across the industry.
So, if you can, we’d be hugely grateful if you’d consider being one of just ten people today who purchase a copy. In return, you’ll get a beautiful 100-page, ring-bound magazine, packed with features, all new exercises to plan your year and inspire new stories, and updated directories of resources. You can see just a selection of what’s coming up above — you can also expect some surprise origami to use when you’re feeling in need of a pep talk, a sneak peek into other writers’ offices, and new insights from our jobs board to help you get ahead.
There are two ways to order a copy. You can either sign up for a recurring ‘Tea and Cake’ membership, which also includes free access to all our events, our transcription tool, co-working, and much more — or you can purchase a one-off copy here, which will get whisked onto your doormat from next week. We’re also offering discount bundles of 10 copies for universities, colleges, and courses — just drop us an email to arrange. However you order, thank you so much for your support 💚
*I know, I did write this last week. But then, as the start of the year tends to, everything got on top of me and I didn’t do a single thing to make this happen. Now, with the help of our absolutely wonderful team, we’re actually in a place to do a final ten days.
